Reporting Current Locations of Vaulted Tapes
The DSPLY function of TSIDUTL creates reports which provide vault information for tape
volumes. These reports can select and display tape datasets by vault.
Parameter Action Example
ALL Lists vault information for all tape
datasets.
DSPLY ALL,SEQ=DSN
VAULT Lists the tapes contained in every vault
except Vault 0 (main library). When
SEQ=VAULT is specified, tapes are
listed in vault and slot sequence and a
page break occurs after each vault.
DSPLY VAULT,SEQ=VAULT
VLT Lists the contents of a single vault. DSPLY ALL,VLT=2,SEQ=DSN
